Engel             All Rights Reserved               Text Box: Atomihedra General Information The Atomihedron has a history stretching back to the 1960's.  It represents a beautiful kind of mathematical art, combining knot theory and a strict form of geometry. It is a self organizing system of knots and links with the general shape of a tetrahedron.  It was derived from flexing rings of 24 tetrahedra.  Many of its properties are still unknown.  With each of these puzzles you are given a figure then asked to assemble the figure from the included pieces.   Thus, it is a type of 3D assembly puzzle.  Sold unfinished so you can color the separate linked rings with marker pens, etc. Rings can be dissambled and reassembled separately.  Solution is included. AO6 Resuts in three interlocked rings, one a composite knot.  Approximately 5.5  inches tall, 60 pieces.
